Craft Projects for Moms and Kids

Crafts can be a great way for moms and kids to bond! It's a shared experience that both of you can treasure for days afterwards. You can also use a craft project as a fun reward for your child for cooperating with an asthma treatment.

Here are some ideas to help get you started.

Paper Bag Puppets—Take ordinary brown lunch bags and other odds and ends around the house to make hand puppets.

Pasta People—Use different-shaped pasta pieces to sculpt funny "pasta people."

ABC Collage Book—Craft a book with a page for each letter of the alphabet. This project can keep you and your child busy for days to come.

Paper Tube Fun—Use those cardboard tubes found in toilet paper, paper towels, and gift wrap to make a kachina doll, a totem pole, a rocket, or even a shiny robot.

Paper Plate Handprint Character—Take simple paper plates and other household items to make a sun, a duck, or a sunflower.
